After launching the experimental program for fiber optic products, Russia is conducting further experiments, extending its scope to include more electronic products under the "Honest MARK" system from December 1, 2023, to February 28, 2025. These electronic products include plugs, lights, and signaling equipment. Government Resolution No. 1993, issued on November 25, 2023, outlines the duration of the experiment and the list of products.
Manufacturers and importers have the option to voluntarily join the "Honest MARK" system during this period, receiving free labeling codes from the regulatory authority. The initiative aims to enable thorough tracking of electronic products from production or import to their removal from circulation, fostering transparency and accountability in the supply chain.
